Running Blind

A one-day game jam project made as part of Student R&D's Code Day event. My team (which also included Cole Estes from FuturePoly, Preetum Nakkiran, and Pramod Chavali) wound up winning the competition. It's apparently still a favorite of Tyler Menezes as well. The game involves navigating through pitch-black mazes using sonar waves without alerting others of your presence.

The mazes start with simple layouts but increase in complexity as the player progresses, later introducing hazards. The goal is to discover each level's hidden exit.

Navigation requires forming a mental model of each level. The game rewards patience and concentration to identify potential hazards ahead.
